The Telstra Perth Fashion Festival is coming!

WA Fashionistas unite! The Telstra Perth Fashion Festival is coming back for 2017 and we couldn’t be more excited for whats to come.

This year the theme is Journey with Us, what Festival Director Mariella Harvey-Hanrahan describes “immersive” and “packed with boundary-pushing ideas and fresh talent.”

“We have our eyes firmly fixed on the future of fashion and creativity,” says Harvey-Hanrahan. “We have gathered the most innovative local, national and international designers and are pleased to present them in a spectacular showcase that fuses style with technology and transport.”

The festival, which has been running since 1999, has cemented itself as an international platform that has launched the careers of many big names – Gemma Ward, Megan Gale, Nicole Trunfio and Wheels & Dollbaby to name a few.

“If you thought last year’s Telstra Perth Fashion Festival program was exceptiona, wait until you see what we have planned for this year,” Fashion Council WA acting chair Kate O’Hara explains.

The free events will be running from the first Tuesday of September but the launch night will be held on the following Tuesday night.

The Opening Night in Fashion Paramount at Crown Pyramid features a star-studded line-up of leading local and national designers like Alice McCall and Bec & Bridge.

Other mentionable designers featuring in this years events include Jonte, Monique Parr, Victoria Bliss, and TPFF alumni One Fell Swoop.

To celebrate 10 influential years in the industry, Rachel Gilbert will present her first standalone show in Perth. This will exhibit styles from her new collection Elements, guaranteed to impress. Think evening gowns on steroids.

In the mean time why not hire a Rachel Gilbert gown from The Volte in honour on the upcoming TPFF like this gorgeous pencil dress.

Visit the TPFF website for more information and to purchase tickets to the events.

Join the Volte Cult and we’ll see you there!
