We love a good red carpet. And there is none that we look forward to more than the Oscars (well maybe the Met Gala). It is Hollywood’s night of nights, the final event of awards season. The stars don their finest looks in custom made gowns, dripping in jewels and the men look pretty good too. Although most of us have no need for a next level black-tie gown, the Oscars do set a tone of what trends we can expect to see in terms of colours, fabrications and silhouettes. They only just sashayed down that famous red carpet, but we take a look at some of the best looks of the night. Trends we noticed? Silver, whites and shimmery fabrics are in, as well as a smattering of pink.
