The 2019 Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival has now finished up so naturally it’s time to talk celeb and runway fashion. Starting on the 1st of March and concluding on the 10th, the who’s who of the Australian fashion scene hit the front rows of the Royal Exhibition Building by invite only to see the upcoming looks from some of Australia’s most well known and respected designers. Our Volte stylist has picked our fave celebrity looks from the week as well as the runway outfits that caught our eye. There are definitely some pieces below that will no doubt return well on investment after being lent through The Volte. Scroll for the scoop…

TALK OF THE TOWN
It seems appropriate to take a minute to mention the girl on everyone’s lips throughout and after the VAMFF – American plus size model ASHLEY GRAHAM. She’s a big advocate for many things, most importantly the acceptance of all body shapes in the fashion industry. Graham, who covers this month’s issue of BAZAAR Australia, walked the runway at the festival wearing two gorgeous pieces. The first being a long sleeve green teal gown by JASONGRECH, featuring a thigh-high split and a cross halter neck. Her second show stopper was a sheer long-sleeved black dress with white embroidery, by Thurley. This girl made waves over the last week for all the right reasons and we love it.
